I think this is a grey area. There are many work places that have dress codes that their employees must abide. An employees personal appearance is the very reflection of the company they work for. Many corporate businesses allow a casual Friday but not 7 days a week. The reality is that we live in a superficial world and appearance says alot in business. There are rules in live to abide by. I think I would be in trouble with my beard, lol. Do I think being fired for growing a beard on the job is a little more extreme on the spectrum? Sure I do. I also see the view of the emplyer as well.
