How do the Japanese react toward non-Japanese / half- Japanese artists in the Japanese music scene? Is it like in Korea where half-/non-Koreans aren't welcomed?

I don't like her much, but shes one of many non-Japanese famous singers, there are alot of half Japanese singers too

Yea Crystal Kay is one I think there is a thread here on her somewhere. I am not much into her either.
