I don't really know why nattou good for the body because personally I don't like the taste of it xD
but I guess you do get a lot of proteins... ?! ?

yeah, I agree. The soy beans contain a good amount of protein. It's a good alternative to meat, poultry and other animal based products where you can get your usual source of protein, which contain more fat (saturated). Soy beans contain all the amino acids your body requires to maintain healhty skin and hair.

...still, I'll just stick eating soy-beans in some other form than nattou though. :S

Personally I love nattou.
I guess it's kind of an aquired taste, seeing as how I hated it when I first tried it.

But then again, I also keep hearing from Japanese people around me that they hated it as a child, and then later got addicted to it.

Mmmm ... nattou, it goes with bread. Tastes like vegemite.

Well at least vegemite that decided that it could come with a chunky texture....
